We’ll be in Cranbrook on Friday and again on Sunday, and in Grand Forks on Saturday. Friday we’ll be at Ric’s Lounge in the Prestige Inn, from 6-9 pm. No cover. Saturday we’ll be at Studio B in Grand Forks. Tickets are $15 at the door, and the show starts at 7:30. Sunday night we’ll be doing the final spring installment of our Vespers series at the Anglican Church in Cranbrook. Admission by donation. Show at 7:00. We’ve got a regular gig at Ric’s Lounge in the Prestige Inn in Cranbrook on the first Friday of every month. We usually start at 6, and play until 9, or later if there are people getting liquored and bopping their heads enthusiastically. We’re also in Grand Forks next month, as well as doing the last in our spring Vespers series on May 6 in Cranbrook.

We regret to announce that Sunday’s Vespers at the Anglican in Cranbrook has been cancelled. Next Vespers is April 1 in Kimberley. On the bright side, we’ve just booked a regular gig with Ric’s lounge in Cranbrook (at the Prestige). We’ll be there the first Friday of each month, starting April 6.

We’ve just received a positive review on our debut record, Dawn. The best thing to do now is to head straight to our online store to buy the album that BC Musician Magazine called “readily accessible and played with great energy and a high level of proficiency.”

It’s January and The Jazz Council’s touring engines are slowly revving up again. We’ve got our spring Vespers series booked, as well as a Valentine’s gig in Creston, featuring guest vocalist, Louise N’ha Ruby. Check back on our tour page for new gigs as they get added.
